The OYUPOL(R) series is a pipe that excels in cold and heat resistance, can be used for water supply and hot water pipes, and has no leaks due to corrosion or electrolysis, offering excellent durability (creep resistance). It is also strong against earthquakes, ensuring stable water supply. Furthermore, compared to metal pipes, the unpleasant water hammer noise that occurs during rapid opening and closing of single-lever faucets is reduced to about 1/4. Since it does not rust, there is no occurrence of red or blue water, and it has minimal adhesion of scale and other deposits. Its thermal conductivity is low (1/250 that of steel pipes and 1/1700 that of copper pipes), and the OYUPOL tube is an integrated product with insulation material, providing excellent thermal insulation properties.
